Antique European Creel

A spectacular example of an authentic European design, known as "tranche de l'orange" (shaped like an orange section), this creel was hand-woven around 1910. Trimmed with a leather shoulder harness and a brass plate, this piece has a great patina and is in beautiful condition overall. Measures 15"L x 7¾"H x 7½”D. This is a rare antique. Made in Europe, probably France or Belgium.
